At ALKYN, we build products designed for adventure, work and everyday reliability. Every ALKYN PACK18 is engineered with premium materials and thoroughly inspected before leaving our warehouse.

To support your purchase, every ALKYN PACK18 is backed by our 24-Month ALKYN Confidence Warranty.

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Warranty Period

Your ALKYN PACK18 is covered by a 24-month limited warranty from the original date of purchase.

The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

What Is Covered

The ALKYN Confidence Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal domestic use, including:

  • Refrigeration system

  • Compressor

  • Electronic control system

  • Internal electrical components

  • AC power operation

  • 12V and 24V DC operation

  • USB-C PD power operation (when used within specified requirements)

  • Factory-installed wiring and connectors

  • Hinges, latches and handles affected by manufacturing defects

  • Factory-installed accessories supplied with the product

If ALKYN determines that a defect is covered under this warranty, we will, at our discretion:

  • Repair the product;

  • Replace the defective product or component; or

  • Provide a refund where repair or replacement is not reasonably available.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or failures resulting from:

  • Accidental damage

  • Impact, drops or misuse

  • Water immersion or flood damage

  • Incorrect voltage or unsuitable power sources

  • Use of non-approved chargers, adaptors or accessories that cause damage

  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications

  • Commercial rental or hire applications

  • Failure to follow operating or maintenance instructions

  • Cosmetic wear including scratches, dents or scuffs from normal use

  • Damage caused during transportation after delivery

  • Consumable items or components subject to normal wear and tear

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe your PACK18 has developed a fault, please contact ALKYN before returning the product.

Please provide:

  • Your proof of purchase

  • Order number

  • Product serial number (if applicable)

  • Description of the issue

  • Photographs or videos showing the fault

Our support team may be able to diagnose and resolve the issue without requiring the product to be returned.

Warranty Assessment

Where required, ALKYN may request that the product be returned for inspection.

If the claim is accepted:

  • Repairs, replacement parts and return freight will be provided at no cost to you.

If inspection determines the issue is not covered by this warranty:

  • We will advise you before any paid repairs are undertaken.

  • Return freight may be at the customer's expense.

Warranty Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALKYN is not responsible for:

  • Loss of food, beverages or medications stored within the product

  • Loss of income or business interruption

  • Travel expenses

  • Consequential or incidental damages arising from product failure

Nothing in this section excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
